Ingredients:
3 lb hamburger
2 onions cut up
Cook until red color gone from the meat and drain thoroughly.
Add:
1 -28 oz can tomatoes
6 cans Stokely (New Orleans) kidney beans
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp celery seed (or a couple of stocks cut up)
3 or 4 bay leaves
4 shakes Worcestershire
3 or 4 shakes Tobasco sauce
1 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
Cook slowly for at least 2 hours.
I have had trouble from time to time finding the exact beans. I've used just red kidney beans without a great deal of difference in taste. Enjoy!!
