Spiced Kale

Yield: 3 servings 
Preparation Time: 10 minutes 
Cooking Time: 5 minutes 

Ingredients: 
- 2 tablespoons butter 
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds  
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped finely  
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder  
- ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric  • Salt, to taste 
-       1 (10 ounce) package fresh baby kale  
-       2 tablespoons water 

Place the butter in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté.” Then add the cumin seeds and sauté for about 30 seconds. 
2. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. 
3. Select “Cancel” and stir in the kale, chili powder, turmeric, and salt. 
4. Secure the lid and place the pressure valve to the “Seal” position. 
5. Select “Steam” and just use the default time of 1 minute.  
6. Select “Cancel” and carefully do a “Quick” release. 
7. Remove the lid and select “Sauté. 
8. Cook for about 2-3 minutes. 
9. Select “Cancel” and serve hot.
